Talk: "A new sunrise on Earth"
In April 2017 Lawrence released "A New Sunrise on Earth" his first nature film in theaters. It was produced over 3 years in partnership with the French production company Bonne Pioche, winner of the Oscar with "The March of the Penguins". The story is told by the Sun and Water, "father" and "mother" of life on Earth, in the voices of actors Ailton Graça and Leticia Sabatella, and shows the struggle for survival in the most diverse biomes on the planet. Here, in addition to a natural phenomenon, dawn is the metaphor of the beginning of a new cycle. In this lecture Wahba describes the challenge of registering the sunrise in the most remote places of the planet facing the difficulties of two Universes. Strategic planning is necessary both to survive expeditions with complex logistics in inhospitable locations and to be successful in the mission of producing a documentary of international quality standard.
